Projects carried out by GlobalCAD to contribute to human development:
The Global Centre on Adaptation (GCA) has commissioned the consortium of GlobalCAD, Meteosim and OCA Global to develop climate hazard data and a climate risk screening tool (QGIS) for solar power investments.

The consortium identified child deprivations linked with business practices, actions, or inaction. Through several data gathering tools (surveys, interviews) it also assessed the role businesses play in providing essential services, as well as its potential of engagement to enhance children rights to UNICEF’s 5 business focus areas.
The main goal of the Project is to design the urban resiliencies strategy of five specific cities in Kenya (Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, and Eldoret) in order to reduce the mitigation risks associated to climate change
