Training programme to integrate CSR practices in West Africa
Within the framework of collaboration between CAD-IBLF to generalize CSR practices in companies in the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), started in 2009, this project consisted in the organization of a series of workshops and training to promote integration and generalization of responsible practices within the Aga Khan network in Mali.
The program is articulated around two main aspects:
- Design and implementation of a training of trainers for different relevant stakeholders (Patronage, Consultants, Training Centres, Universities, etc).
- Organization of training for the integration of CSR within companies of the AKDN in Mali, with participants from Senegal, Ivory Coast and Burkina Faso.
The program led to the adherence of the companies to the Global Compact initiative and to the implementation of (ongoing) programs affecting more than 50,000 workers from different companies.
