Training on Partnership with Private Sector
Based on the recommendations of the study of the Private Sector impact on children’s rights in Mali realized in 2010 and finalized in 2011, the mission had two main objectives: preparation of UNICEF staff for integrating CSR and partnership with private sector within their usual practice and fostering the successful creation of the Coalition of the Private Sector for children and an understanding of the CSR for Children Manual.

Train key UNICEF Mali staff on managing partnerships with the private sector and how CSR can help UNICEF to advance the children’s rights agenda in the country.
Recommendations for how UNICEF Mali would need to organize itself to maximize corporate partnerships (staffing and staff skills, roles & responsibilities, communications, funding, CSR manual, etc).
Fostering the successful creation of the Coalition of the Private Sector for children and an understanding of the CSR for Children Manual.
Strategic study with specific recommendations on how to develop and organize the Coalition in Mali.
