CSR Communication strategy for the Spanish tuna industry

The main objective of this research has been the creation of a plan to communicate the attributes of the Spanish tuna industry in a manner consistent with the sector’s values, vision and social mission and to improve its relationship with various stakeholders. It aimed to generate a strategy to improve the perception and reputation that civil society has about Spanish tuna industry’s CSR.

Gap analysis of the stakeholder`s perception of the performance of the sector, the communication and information that is currently offering the Spanish tuna industry and the reality of their actions through their management of CSR.

Identification of key areas for improvement and internal communication areas to be strengthened.

Proposal of an action plan to communicate clearly and concisely to society the Spanish tuna industry practices on CSR in the sector.
