CSR of Spanish Companies in Latin America

LAC
Spain
2007 - 2008
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is increasingly implemented in Latin America as a process to integrate social cohesion in economic growth to improve the conditions of the population. To achieve this, we must propose more participatory and democratic models of CSR, integrating policy, private sector and society. Clearly there is a common interest between the public and private sector to solve the problems of poverty and inequality. Only by creating synergies between the two sectors will make it possible to help solve these problems.

Given the importance of Spanish multinationals in the region, this study examines the 25 largest companies in Latin America (relating to market share and investments) and evaluates CSR policies in the region to be able to develop a list of recommendations to improve CSR policies and create a strategic plan for development
