GlobalCAD is looking for a proactive person passionate about Cooperation & Development who wants to join a competitive organization with a committed and international team to promote social transformation.

We are looking specifically for someone with the following characteristics:

• Fluent in English (oral and written) and Spanish (oral and written). Mastering French will be a plus, and any other languages will be considered a strong added value
• Master’s Degree in Development, Cooperation & Policy, International Business, Entrepreneurship, Economics, Social Innovation, Social Engineering or other relevant field
• Background in at least two of the following topics: green economy, entrepreneurship, SME development, inclusive business, access to finance, management for results, value chain analysis, ecosystem analysis or similar topics
• At least 3 years of practical experience in the development field and/or in specific economic sectors or in public institutions
• Ability to work independently and results oriented
• Capacity for organization and planning, also under time pressure and in different cultural contexts

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

The work will be based at our Headquarters office in Barcelona and shall consist of performing the following tasks:

• Screening of opportunities from main international bidding systems and identification of new sources of opportunities (direct or through portals).
• Support for the preparation of Expressions of Interest and Proposals
• Contribution to the knowledge management and knowledge generation process of GlobalCAD products
• Research on given topics on demand base (green economy, climate change, climate finance,  mappings of actors, etc.)
• Participation in the implementation of our projects with our core partners and clients
• Support the development and implementation of a proactive commercial strategy in the core areas of GlobalCAD (Partnerships, Green Economy and Climate Change mitigation, SMEs Development and Inclusive Business, Aid Efficiency and Evaluation, and Equitable and Sustainable Cities)

Calendar: 6 month trial period extendable to indefinite contract. From September 2023

Time dedication: 40h/week
