This call is open to evaluation experts globally, and we especially welcome applications from evaluators from the global south. Key profile requirements are:
- > Masters’ level education in social science, economic science, development and/or any relevant qualification;
- > At least 5 years of experience in conducting strategic, thematic and/or project and programme evaluations in the field of development cooperation;
- > Experience in using various evaluation approaches and application of evaluation methods such as theory-based evaluations, contribution analysis or other relevant qualitative or quantitative approaches
- > Excellent writing and oral communication skills;
- > Fluency in either English or French is essential; proficiency in another language is an asset.
Apart from evaluation expertise, you should bring sound knowledge in one or more of the following thematic areas:
- > Private sector for development
- > Environment and climate change adaptation/mitigation
- > Urban development
- > Education and learning
- > Health / WASH / Nutrition
- > Social Policy and Social Protection
- > Emergency/Humanitarian Response
