UCLG DECALOGUE for the COVID-19 aftermath

Guaranteeing public services, a worldwide green deal that makes our communities more resilient to future outbreaks and a reinforced equality framework in urban planning: these are some of the 10 principles that will guide the local and regional governments in the COVID-19 aftermath.

In the context of COVID-19, the local and regional governments around the world, are at the forefront of the efforts to overcome the challenges. They act as allies of other spheres of government, of the scientific community, and as global actors with important transformational and convening power.

The Decalogue for the COVID-19 era is their political charter for the aftermath. It guides their international advocacy, and shape their thinking for the future of humanity, focusing on the commitment to build a world of solidarity.
