GlobalCAD conducted, together with W&B an external evaluation of the Peru country programme between August 2018 and January 2019 and focused on selected outcomes of GGGI’s Peru Country Program from 2013 to 2018. The evaluation addressed three key questions relating to the programme outcomes; key factors that affected the achievement of outcomes, and the GGGI’s engagement and value add.
The Global Green Growth Institute has been supporting the Government of Peru since 2013, making the Peru country programme one of the longest-running programmes in the Institute. In April 2013, a country office was created with country-based staff. Since 2013, the country programme has comprised of projects in the following areas: forestry, water, green growth, and public sector eco-efficiency.
