CAD is hiring again! Procurement and Knowledge Management Coordination

You might be interested in this opportunity at GlobalCAD, which is looking for a procurement and knowledge management coordinator. As post holder, you will be a core member of the management team, providing the critical and creative skills needed for the management of project acquisition, as well as monitoring performance.

Specific Responsibilities:

You will coordinate CAD’s procurement team for implementing projects in the area of development.

You will be also responsible for systematizing and managing protocols, guidelines, formats, and knowledge products developed by CAD in order to increase our impact in the development sector.

This includes:

> Active research identifying potential projects as well as the creation of partnerships for development opportunities

> Being the main responsible for the design and preparation of proposals

> Manage research on specific demands piloting innovative new ideas and monitoring CAD’s performance on such issues.

Furthermore, creative and effective management of CAD’s knowledge products will be indispensable to guarantee effectiveness, communication and transparency of the organization.

Requirements:

> Master’s degree in social sciences.

Experience managing procurement processes with EU (H2020), UN and other international organizations.

Experience in knowledge and information management and database design.

Experience with assessment and survey design, business process analysis and project plan development.

Ability to work independently with a results orientation framework.

Excel in written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.

French, Catalan and other languages will be valued.

Terms of conditions:

Start: May 2018.

Duration: 12 months.

Dedication: To be determined. 20-40 hours/ week.

City: Barcelona

Compensation: Compensation will be offered in line with dedication and experience.
