CAD Productions launches a new documentary in collaboration with World Bank Cameroon

Last February 23th CAD Productions launched a new series of videos in collaboration with World Bank Cameroon on the challenges and opportunities trade and transport offer in Central Africa.

Regional integration and trade facilitation are considered key areas to stimulate key growth and development in the CEMAC region, the least integrated trade region in Africa. Filmed in the Douala-Ndjamena and Douala-Bangui corridors between Chad, Cameroon and the Central Africa Republic, the videos focus on the efforts made to improve transport management and border custom efficiency and how ICT can help in the process.

The launch was followed by a live chat session with Peter Ngwa Taniform, Transport Specialist at the World Bank and Fernando Casado, GlobalCAD director. As Peter Ngwa Taniform explained during the interview, the main goal of the World Bank with these initiatives is to engage citizens by becoming more transparent.  “To share prosperity and eradicate poverty it is important to engage beneficiaries at every level of the society”.

The videos are available here.
