CAD participates in the Inclusive Business Forum 2015

On May 20th, Inclusive Business Sweden, member of the BoP Global Network, organized the Inclusive Business Forum 2015 under the theme “co-creating the future”. The main goal of the event was to inspire collaboration towards addressing the global challenges of poverty through inclusive business. The venue took place in Solna, Stockholm thanks to the support of Vinnova, the Swedish government agency that administers state funding for research and development.

The morning session was devoted to inspire participants. Key speakers included Hans Rosling, Professor of International Health at Karolinska Institute and co-founder and chairman of the Gapminder Foundation, and Iqbal Quadir, founder of Grameenphone and Professor of the Practice of Development and Entrepreneurship at MIT.  Speeches were followed by a panel discussion around co-creation between Sweden and developing countries.

After the lunch break attendees were encouraged to be actively involved in different sector based workshops that included the following topics: Energy, Healthcare, Water and Sanitation, Agri and Forestry, ICT and Textiles and Clothing.
