In May, the CAD expert Johanna Klein, had the opportunity to teach environmental management in a training program for Environmental Management in Companies. The training was organized as part of a pilot project, the result of a partnership between Volkswagen Mexico, the German Cooperation project “Platform for Cooperation of Northern Latin America” (COPLAN) in collaboration with its counterpart, the Mexican –German Chamber of Trade and Industry (CAMEXA).

The project aims to develop an official certification that can be obtained in both Germany and Mexico. It offers both a basic course, which is aimed at employees at operating level, and a Diplomado, aimed at managers and multipliers. It is planned to multiply both courses to other firms and sectors in the near future. The first participants have already been successfully certified by CAMEXA.
