In a crisis situation is when the lack of political leadership is mostly denounced. It is also when social innovation is mostly evoked. However, in order to use the concept accordingly, it is necessary to question the current thinking model and recognize that the parameters used up till now for decision-making have not been the correct ones to solve our global challenges. Consequently, it is necessary to consider an unlearning model as a reflective method of critical questioning, that serves as a constant questioning exercise, analyzing the boundaries for management in order to promote a transition process towards more inclusive and sustainable ways of development.
